About us
Oorlich Designs is rooted in the rich culture of Scotland, with our name deriving from the Scots word "oorlich" which evokes the essence of typical Scottish weather. We embrace this heritage by offering clothing that is not only stylish but also practical for the dreich, damp days of Scotland.
With the use of wax based cotton made in Dundee since 1864 combined with the design of a well known kilt style jacket, tailored in the West coast of Scotland by a highly regarded Highland wear company. This combination of style and material will be well suited for this type of weather.

American Independence 250th Anniversary Sporran

Here at Oorlich Designs we are introducing a special limited edition Racoon full mask sporran to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of American Independence 1776-2026 .The edition is limited to 13 Sporrans each sporran representing one of the 13 colonies which signed the treaty and formed the United States of America. When you select the Colony that you would like your sporran to represent, on the back will be the Betsy Ross Flag and the name of the colony and the year. Each individual sporran will represent one colony. Each sporran will come with its own presentation box and a brief history of the colony you selected inside your box. The inside of each sporran will be lined in suede representing the colours of the Stars and Stripes.
This is truly a limited edition of only 13 Sporrans worldwide.
This will be Tastefully and respectfully designed by us here at Oorlich designs to honour and commemorate this historical event.
We have commissioned world renowned sporran maker, Margaret Morrison of Perth to create and bring our ideas for this heirloom sporran to fruition.
